Unai Emery receives good news ahead of their match against Manchester City

Arsenal will on Sunday face Manchester City which is currently second on the Premier League table.

Arsenal will on Sunday face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium and the gooners will be worried about this game because they are currently in an injury crisis in their defensive area. Unai Emery has however received some good news as the latest team news reveal that Laurent Koscielny and Ainsley Maitland-Niles have returned to full training ahead of their trip to Manchester.

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny got injured in Arsenal’s loss to Manchester United in the FA Cup on Friday last week and this must have given Unai Emery a big headache since Sokratis who is a defender had also got injured in the same match. The Frenchman had swelling on his jaw but the club has confirmed that he is now back in training ahead of their upcoming match against second placed Manchester City.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles missed Arsenal’s match against Cardiff City on Tuesday because he had a knee problem before the game, but he is currently being assessed ahead of the Manchester City game. Arsenal boss Unai Emery will need Maitland-Niles to be fit for the game because Hector Bellerin has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery will definitely feel relieved that the gunners will be with Laurent Koscielny and Ainsley Maitland-Niles on Sunday because Manchester City has many attacking threats that will definitely give the gunners a hard time.
