Unai Emery speaks out on Hector Bellerin’s injury

Hector Bellerin was in the starting eleven of Arsenal that played against Chelsea but the Spanish right back got injured in the second half.

Arsenal faced Chelsea on Saturday and managed to get all the three points but they unfortunately lost Hector Bellerin in this game as he was stretched off in the second half after going down in the final third. Unai Emery has revealed that his injury could be serious.

Hector Bellerin just returned from a short-term injury which kept him on the sidelines for a few weeks and he played some minutes in Arsenal’s loss against West Ham United at the London Stadium last weekend. The Arsenal fans were praying that Unai Emery includes him in the starting eleven that faces Chelsea and he did.

Hector Bellerin was very impressive throughout the whole match and he even assisted Alexandre Lacazette’s goal in the 14th minute but he however went down in the second half, he lied down in immerse pain and this usually happens when something has got torn inside.

The gunners won the match 2 nil and Unai Emery faced the media, and he was then asked about the injury of Hector Bellerin who got carried away. He said while speaking to the reporters;

“I hope no but our first impressions are not positive.” said Unai Emery after getting asked if it was serious.

The gunners will be hoping that his injury doesn’t turn out to be similar to that of Danny Welbeck and Rob Holding because these two have got sidelined for a long time and the Arsenal fans have missed them so much.
