Aubameyang wins Arsenal award and surprises fans

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang played in eight Arsenal matches in December and he scored five goals & also made two assists.

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang became the club’s player of the month for December after having been voted by majority of the fans. The Gabon international has shown that he has an interesting personality and he this time surprised the Arsenal fans on Twitter.

December was an interesting month for Arsenal because it played many matches and in those games, Aubameyang took part in 8 and managed to get on the score sheet five times and also got 2 assists on his name. Arsenal’s worst performance of the season was against Liverpool at the Anfield Stadium in late December and the gunners lost the match 5-1, and Aubameyang was heavily criticized for having a few touches in that game.

However, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was outstanding in other matches played in December and the club announced the news of him being named player of the month. He surprised the Arsenal fans when he replied with a funny message which most of them have liked.

He wrote;

“Thanks, apart that sh*t game in Liverpool it was a good month.”

Some Arsenal fans have begged him to stay like that in all the years which he will spend at the Emirates Stadium because they like his personality and the togetherness which he brings to the Arsenal squad on and off the pitch. The gooners will be hoping that Aubameyang performs well in January as he did in December last year.
