Arsenal was on an unbeaten run of 22 matches but in just one week, things have started getting worse for them because they have now lost their last two matches against Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur. Arsenal boss Unai Emery might be thinking what he has made wrong in these two matches because they have raised criticism on his tactics.
The gunners lost 3-2 to Southampton and the Arsenal fans were disappointed that he didn’t have the confidence to start a young centre back in that game but rather opted to playing Granit Xhaka in that position, and this experiment didn’t work out well because Arsenal conceded three goals. The Arsenal fans thought that he would have identified that Granit Xhaka is horrible as a centre back but he yet again played the Swiss international in the centre back position against Tottenham Hotspur last night.
Most of the Arsenal fans have already started getting second thoughts on if Unai Emery was the right man for the job at the North London club. The Arsenal boss has today sent a message to the fans ahead of their upcoming match against Burnley and also wished them a Merry Christmas.
He wrote on Twitter;
“We were all disappointed after the game. Today we just keep together and focused on celebrating Christmas the best way with all our Arsenal family. Starting from now at Colney and from Saturday at the Emirates. Come on you Reds!”
