Unai Emery reveals whether Mesut Ozil will play against Qarabag

Mesut Ozil has missed Arsenal’s last three matches against Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Huddersfield Town because of back problems but the latest team news said that the German international is now back in full training. Arsenal fans have started complaining that Mesut Ozil is needed because his creativity was missed in the last few matches.

Arsenal will tomorrow face Qarabag at the Emirates Stadium and it’s going to be their UEFA Europa League last group stage match of the season but there’s on pressure on the North Londoners to win this game because they have already qualified to the round of 32. Unai Emery will however hope to use this match to test some of his youngsters and also refresh the legs of the Arsenal stars that were injured.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery faced the press today at the London Colney and he was also asked on if Mesut Ozil will be in the starting eleven of the squad that takes on Azerbaijan side Qarabag.

“I don’t know. Tomorrow he is in the group, there are 18 players in the squad for this match and I am going to decide if he plays tomorrow from the beginning or during the match in the 90 minutes.” Unai Emery told Arsenal’s official website.

Mesut Ozil will be hoping to impress in the match against Qarabag if he is selected in the starting eleven because the Arsenal team has won twice and drawn once without him in this month but the fans are hoping that Unai Emery uses him against Southampton because he creates chances.
