Unai Emery receives double injury blow ahead of Manchester United match

Unai Emery begun preparing his team yesterday ahead of their match against Manchester United, most of the Arsenal players were available for the training sessions on Tuesday but some missed like Mesut Ozil. The gunners will come into this match with great confidence because they are on an unbeaten run.

MESUT OZIL OUT OF THE MANCHESTER UNITED GAME

The German midfielder missed Arsenal’s matches against Bournemouth, Vorskla and the North London Derby. The club said on Sunday that the reason why Mesut Ozil will miss the game was because he had back spasms but he however never reported back for yesterday’s training sessions. So Unai Emery will probably be without Mesut Ozil who would have helped in defeating Manchester United.

Arsenal released the latest team news on Monday and here’s what it read about Mesut Ozil;

“Mesut Ozil (Back). Being assessed ahead of Manchester United (a) on Wednesday, December 5.”

LAURENT KOSCIELNY LIMPS OFF PITCH IN ARSENAL UNDER-21 MATCH

Laurent Koscielny has been on the sidelines for months but he recently returned and featured in an Arsenal Under-23 match a week ago. The French international isn’t fully fit so he also took part in the Arsenal Under-21 match against Portmouth. The young Arsenal side lost the game 2-1 but Laurent Koscielny limped off the pitch with 10 minutes to go, and so this is another injury blow for Unai Emery that might force him to sign a defender in January if Koscielny is ruled out for a long time again.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has always said that he wants to be cautious with Laurent Koscielny because his Achilles injury was very serious.
