Arsenal releases starting eleven to face Tottenham Hotspur

The Carabao Cup has returned this week and the gunners will in a few minutes face their arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal hugely needs this win to get back its confidence after losing to Southampton on Sunday a few days back.

Arsenal has just released the lineup to face Tottenham Hotspur and it seems Unai Emery still has injury problems because Granit Xhaka has started as a centre back again. So here’s the Arsenal lineup to face Tottenham Hotspur.

Cech, Maitland-Niles, Xhaka, Sokratis, Monreal, Torreira, Guendouzi, Mkhitaryan, Ramsey, Iwobi, Lacazette

Substitutes:

Martinez, Koscielny, Lichtsteiner , Elneny, Willock, Lacazette, Nketiah

Arsenal boss Unai Emery wants to keep all his goalkeepers happy and he has this time included Petr Cech in the starting eleven, it will be a perfect time for him to showcase that he is an outstanding goalkeeper. The gunners defeated Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 a few weeks back and they will be hoping to do it again to show that they can easily bounce back from a defeat to winning an important game.

The gunners are yet again without Mesut Ozil who is probably still suffering from back spasms.
