The winter transfer window will soon be opened and the Arsenal fans can’t wait to see the players which their team will bring since they believe that their squad still has some loopholes that need to be fixed but the question is; Will Arsenal sign any player in the January transfer window, our answer is no for the following reasons.
ARSENAL DOESN’T HAVE ENOUGH FUNDS
We all know that Arsenal’s new boss Unai Emery was given just £70million to spend in the summer transfer window and the Spanish coach with his chief of recruitment Sven Mislintat managed to get five players using that small amount. If the club gave the manager that small amount to spend in the summer yet it’s the most important transfer window then there’s a huge doubt that they will let go of any amount in this upcoming transfer window.
To top on that, Arsenal’s head of football Raul Sanllehi recently said in an interview with Sky Sports that the gunners haven’t identified anyone to sign yet because they feel that the squad is a bit complete now but they however did give some hope to Arsenal fans when they said that if a new player is needed, they will try their best to sign him.
ARSENAL PLAYERS RETURNING FROM THE SIDELINES

Most Arsenal fans hope to see Unai Emery sign new defenders in the January transfer window because their team has conceded in most of its matches this season but the North Londoners will this month be welcoming back Laurent Koscielny and Dinos Mavropanos to the squad. Sokratis Papastathopoulos has already returned from his injury so those are three defenders that will help sort Arsenal’s defensive problems.
So basically, the return of the injured Arsenal players will be like new signings. This was one of the things Arsene Wenger used to say when asked on why he doesn’t sign players.
