Mesut Ozil Sends Message To Fans After Liverpool Game

Mesut Ozil had a neat performance against Liverpool and the Arsenal fans will be hoping to see similar performances from him in the future.

Arsenal made a 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Saturday and even though the gunners dropped two points, they however made a point to their critics who thought that the Reds would find it easy getting a win against the gunners because they are a weak side. Arsenal rather showed a commanding performance and managed to get at least one point.

Mesut Ozil returned to the starting eleven today after having been benched in mid-week when the gunners faced Blackpool, the German international was once again given the captain’s arm band and he had a nice performance against Liverpool even though his contributions were not too visible. Arsenal fans used to complain in the past that Mesut Ozil goes missing when the gunners face big teams but he was this time involved in most of Arsenal’s attacking moments.

The match ended 1-1 and it’s considered as a pretty good result for the gunners because everyone expected them to lose, Mesut Ozil sent a message to the fans after the Liverpool game.

He wrote;

“Good team mentality – great to come back after going behind. Progress is being made.”

Arsenal fans are happy that he has left everything that happened last week behind him because they need unity in their squad if they are to win some silverware this season.
