Arsenal took the lead in an extraordinary fashion, when Bournemouth’s Jefferson Lerma volleyed emphatically past his own keeper. The home side were soon level though, when a quick counter attack was finished off superbly by Josh King’s curler into the top corner.

Aubameyang then got the Gunners back in front in the second half, tapping in Kolasinac’s cross. Bournemouth continued to look threatening as they won a free kick in the last minute that was close to being a penalty. Bernd Leno continued his impressive form with magnificent saves to keep Arsenal in the game.

Arsenal have now extended their unbeaten run to 17 across all competitions however they are yet to lead a Premier League game at halftime this season which is something very bad indicating their reliance on the second half.
