Arsenal Will Lose To Liverpool Says Arsenal Legend

Arsenal faces Liverpool this weekend and everyone is looking forward to this match because we all know that the Reds are on form, and the gooners will use this game to know whether Unai Emery can manage to get a win against a top club after losing to both Chelsea and Manchester City in August.

Arsenal made a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace last week and them failing to defeat the Eagles has been attributed to its poor defence because the two goals conceded were penalty goals after the gunners had fouled players in their box. Arsenal legend Paul Merson has said that the gunners will lose to Liverpool on Saturday because their defence is very poor.

“I can’t see anything but a Liverpool win, I think this is the day Arsenal show some big cracks. I just think the defence is terrible, all over the place, and no different to what it was before.” Paul Merson told Sky Sports.

Arsenal has always been criticized by its legends who have these days become football pundits, so according to the analysis by Paul Merson, the gunners will lose this game because their defence is disorganised due to the injury crisis it is in at the moment.

A win against Liverpool will show that they are now among the Premier League title contenders since most football pundits believe that Unai Emery should prove himself that he can win a match against a big team as he is doing with the small teams. Paul Merson has in the past always criticized the gunners but the Arsenal supporters will be hoping that he eats his own words on Saturday when Arsenal defeats the Reds.
