Video: Mesut Ozil’s Best Goal Ever

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil celebrated his 30th birthday today and the German international is now in the right years to make a difference in football, the Arsenal fans are glad that he is still with them after the Ozil-Sanchez transfer saga.

The club decided to share what can be called his best goal in his footballing career on all its official social media accounts to remind the fans about their favourite goal scored by the German. The goal is none other than the beautiful well crafted solo goal by Mesut Ozil against Ludogorets in 2016.

Mesut Ozil also admitted back then that this was his best goal ever because he was able to get past the goalkeeper, take on two defenders and embarrassed them due to his great skills hence scoring an empty net.

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil would be with his Germany teammates now if he didn’t retire from international football and that announcement from him surprised everyone because it’s not common for talented players like him to retire when they are just 30 years old.

The Arsenal fans hope that he will stay at the Emirates Stadium for many years because they want him to also be considered as a legend when he eventually leaves the North London club in the future.
