Arsenal Vs Blackpool Synopsis And Prediction

A win against Blackpool will take Arsenal to the Carabao Cup quarter finals.

Arsenal has welcomed Blackpool at the Emirates Stadium today and the gunners will need to win this match so that they could restore their confidence before they face Liverpool this weekend. This match is probably going to have a lot of goals in Arsenal’s favour because the gunners are far more superior than The Seasiders.

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery will use a light squad because he will keep most of his star players for the Liverpool game but the Spanish manager has already said that he wants to take all completions seriously so it wouldn’t be a surprise seeing today’s team sheet of the gunners having players like Mesut Ozil, Aubameyang and Lacazette.

OUR PREDICTION: Arsenal 3-0 Blackpool

Blackpool defeated AFC Wimbledon 2-0 on Saturday and have today travelled to the Emirates well knowing that it won’t be easy for them to get a win against Arsenal because they are currently on form, and are un beaten in their last 12 matches. But it won’t be good for Arsenal to underestimate Blackpool because it lost its first FA Cup match last season because the then current boss Wenger used a less experienced squad.

It is going to be a tough match for Blackpool but it will certainly be an interesting one for the Arsenal supporters. We have already released the expected Arsenal lineup to face Blackpool and if Unai Emery uses it, I think the gunners will win this match with a score line of like 3+ goals.
