Aaron Ramsey has been linked with a move away from Arsenal this month after it was claimed that the gunners had removed their offer to him from the discussion table meaning he would run out his current deal with the gunners.
Unai Emery faced the press today in his pre-match press conference and what he had to say about the future of Aaron Ramsey was among the main topics which they asked him about, the Arsenal boss has continually said that he has no say in contract negotiations the players have with the club because he only focusses on the team’s performances.
Aaron Ramsey has been quiet on his future in the last few months but it seems that the Welsh man wants to put the club in the same situation it faced during the Sanchez-Ozil saga earlier this year. It is not certain what’s going on but most reports say that the club will not offering him a new deal and that he will leave when his contract expires next year.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery said what he usually says when asked about player’s new contract extension talks, he says that Ramsey is important to him but believes that if the Welshman signs a new deal, it will depend on three parties; the player, his family and representatives and then the club.
“There are three elements, three aspects. One is the player and also the player with their family and representatives. The other is the club and the other is the squad. ” Unai Emery told Arsenal.com.
“My focus is always on the team. My focus is preparing with the players and only thinking about the match tomorrow.”
Arsenal fans will now wait for the official statement from Aaron Ramsey but they are worried that he might be sold off in the January transfer window so that the club doesn’t lose him for free in the summer.
