Unai Emery Comments On The Win Against Everton

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has revealed his excitement on defeating Everton 2-0 and says that the win was very important for them.

Arsenal got its fourth Premier League win yesterday after it defeated Everton 2-0 thanks to goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Arsenal fans were worried that they gunners were going to drop the three points after it put on a poor performance in the first half.

The first half started off poorly for Arsenal because Everton used counter attacks and had more chances of scoring in the first 45 minutes than the gunners but Unai Emery’s men were better in the second half and finally got their two goals of the day in a space of four minutes.

Arsenal’s new boss Unai Emery was highly criticized by the supporters and football pundits due to a poor start to the new season but the Spanish manager has said that he is still in the testing phase, the Arsenal fans are glad that he is now using a lineup which they want. Unai Emery knew how a win against Everton would help his team get closer to the Premier League top four and he spoke of how the match was important for them in his post match press conference.

“Victory is very important for us. It’s three points for playing our way in the table. Then we can analyse the game and the 90 minutes, but firstly for victory is very important.” Unai Emery told Arsenal.com.

The Arsenal supporters will be hoping to see Unai Emery get more Premier League wins this season because it seems all teams that were in the top four last season are on form hence lowering their chances of playing UEFA Champions League next season yet it’s their main aim.
