Petr Cech Reveals How Unai Emery Makes Him Better

Arsenal's first choice goalkeeper Petr Cech says that Unai Emery makes them better because he is too demanding.

Unai Emery arrived at Arsenal in May and everyone wants to see if he will make wonders in his first season at the Emirates Stadium. The manager has been heavily criticized this season for using Petr Cech as his first choice goalkeeper yet they wanted him benched.

Arsenal’s new boss Unai Emery requires his squad to start attacks from behind with the goalkeeper also taking part but it’s been pretty visible that Petr Cech isn’t used to that and made some mistakes in their previous matches.

Arsenal fans were disappointed with Petr Cech for making silly mistakes in matches due to being poor at playing from the back and they then urged Unai Emery to be using Bernd Leno because the young German goalkeeper was familiar with that playing style when he was still at Bayer Leverkusen.

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech had a man of the match performance against Everton who had many chances of scoring but failed thanks to the Czech Republican international who was super alert. Cech has revealed that Unai Emery makes them better because he is very demanding as quoted by Arsenal.com.

“He is very demanding and I think this is how you improve. I think the place became much more demanding in every way so this is great to see because this is what initially drives everybody forward and gives you the kind of kick that.” said Petr Cech.

All Arsenal supporters were happy with Petr Cech’s performance against Everton and they will be hoping to see similar displays in the future so that he could prove everyone wrong that believes that he shouldn’t be Unai Emery’s first choice goalkeeper.
