Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny is currently injured and is expected to return in December but Evening Standard journalist James Benge believes he will return sooner than that.
Laurent Koscielny
Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny sustained a knee injury before the end of last season and was originally scheduled to make his return to the pitch in December because it was a delicate injury.
The French defender recently returned to the Arsenal facility for rehabilitation last week and has started the process of his recovery, with the gunners hoping that he could start playing for Arsenal this season before the end of this year.
Evening Standard journalist James Benge has said that Arsenal’s captain Laurent Koscielny will be returning in November even though it was earlier announced that he would return in December, he revealed this on Twitter.
He wrote on Twitter;
“Laurent Koscielny’s return to training has been pushed slightly forward, now aiming to be back on the pitches in November.”
Arsenal supporters will be looking forward to the return of Laurent Koscielny because they are not happy with the current back four which has conceded six goals already in just three matches this season, and they will be hoping to see the partnership of Koscielny-Sokratis because these two would likely be great in protecting the goalkeeper.
Arsenal’s boss Unai Emery chose Laurent Koscielny as his main captain for this season even though he was injured but the gunners will be hopeful that he returns when he is strong because their previous captains didn’t play many matches in the past seasons but they this time want an active captain.
