Report: Unai Emery Needs To Make One Decision Before The Transfer Window Closes

Aaron Ramsey is yet to sign a new deal to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium but here's an analysis on why Unai Emery should tell the midfielder to sign or leave the club.

Arsenal appointed Unai Emery as the new manager of the gunners in May and the Spanish international has already started making a number of changes at a club which has been under the management of Arsene Wenger for two decades.

The manager hasn’t faced many major challenges at the North London club but it seems he has finally got one which is – Aaron Ramsey  not signing a new contract yet the club has offered the Welsh international a deal but the midfielder is hesitating to sign it for un known reasons.

Unai Emery has been continually saying that he hopes to create his squad around Aaron Ramsey in almost every public interview he is having but the player is still not ready to sign a new deal even though he is hearing such statements from the manager. So here’s an analysis why the manager should tell the Welsh international to sign a new deal or leave the club.

1. Arsenal not ready to make another ridiculous mistake

Aaron Ramsey

The gunners were put in a tight decision last season when their then two best players – Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil went into the final year of their contract hence putting alot of pressure on the club. Arsenal ended up giving Mesut Ozil a contract which saw the German international become the highest paid player at the Emirates Stadium.

It seems Aaron Ramsey is playing the same stunt but the club wouldn’t wish to have another player with a big weekly wage.

2. Arsenal can reportedly offer Ramsey to Barcelona in exchange for Ousmane Dembele

There has been many reports saying that the gunners could lose Aaron Ramsey to Barcelona and get Ousmane Dembele in return so even though, the two players literally don’t play the same position but the gunners getting the young Frenchman would be a great addition to Unai Emery’s squad.

It is quite clear that Arsenal’s new manager Unai Emery wants Aaron Ramsey to stay at the club but the player shouldn’t use that to ask for big demands.
