Nacho Monreal Sends A Message To Arsenal Fans

Arsenal left back Nacho Monreal has sent an appreciation message to all the gunners around the World as he confirms that they still need to improve.

Arsenal welcomed West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday and the hammers were the first to go on the score board thanks to a counter attack which resulted into the gunners conceding in the 25th minute.

The gunners didn’t trail for long as a cross from Hector Bellerin found Nacho Monreal in a perfect position In the West Ham box and the Spanish international didn’t make any mistake, and sent a strong shot into the back of the net, the equaliser changed the match.

Nacho Monreal was among the most performing players on Saturday as Unai Emery got his first points of the season and the left back has sent a message of appreciation to the Arsenal supporters for being behind them in the good and bad times.

Nacho Monreal wrote on Twitter;

“It wasn’t our best performance, we must improve some things but we believe in what we are doing. Most important thing got the 3 points. Thanks for your support AGAIN! In the good and bad moments.”

Nacho Monreal is now also relieved that he scored against the hammers because some Arsenal fans had suggested that Unai Emery drops him and play Stephan Lichtsteiner in his position even though he is right back.

Monreal wasn’t with the Arsenal squad in the pre-season matches due to his participation in the FIFA World Cup so he didn’t start season opening match against City because he had just begun training but not ready.
