Arsenal's pre-season campaign has ended and the gunners end it with a win against Lazio in Stockholm and Unai Emery will now focus on the upcoming season.
Arsenal Vs Lazio
Arsenal has beaten Lazio 2-0 in Stockholm thanks to two goals by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Reiss Nelson who both become the last goal scorers in the 2018 pre-season for the North Londoners.
The gunners travelled to Sweden to face the Italian side and this was Unai Emery’s last friendly match so the Spanish manager needed to have to make use of it correctly because he will now start planning for their match against Manchester City.
The gunners started the match with a youthful team which had youngsters like Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah and Rob Holding, and they were impressive throughout the match as Arsenal defeated Lazio. One more other good thing the Arsenal supporters were happy about on the lineup is that Lucas Torreira and Stephan Lichtsteiner were given their debuts.
Arsenal went on the score board in the 18th minute after Reiss Nelson tapped the ball into the back of the net and the gunners defended their lead until the first half ended, in the second half, Unai Emery made two changes in the squad at the beginning of the second half.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was among the substitutes that came into the match in the second half and the Gabon international made impact in the match as he scored Arsenal’s second goal in the 64th minute after getting a clear chance in the Lazio box.
