Aaron Ramsey’s Contract Renewal Saga Makes U-turn

Arsenal has told Aaron Ramsey that he should sign the deal offered to him because they won't improve it to make him the highest paid player at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has not yet signed a new deal and he has tried making the club desperate because he understands that they need him and the fact that Unai Emery has already openly said that he is a player which he wants at the club, he was even quoted saying that the midfielder is important to him.

Aaron Ramsey has entered into the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium and the gunners will lose the Welsh international next summer for free if they don’t reach an agreement with him on a new contract but it’s understood that the North Londoners have given him a new deal waiting for him to sign it.

The Evening Standard claims that the gunners have told Aaron Ramsey to sign the deal which they have offered him because they aren’t ready to give him a deal which would see him get a salary equal or more to that given to Mesut Ozil. Ozil is Arsenal’s highest paid player after he signed a deal which sees him earn an estimated amount of £350,000-a-week.

Aaron Ramsey currently earns ¥100,000-a-week in his current deal at Arsenal but it’s rumoured that he wants to be the highest paid player at Arsenal and it’s said that the North Londoners aren’t ready to give another player a lucrative offer again due to being desperate to keep the midfielder.

Ramsey has been quiet on his future at the Emirates Stadium in the last few days but he did make a statement some few weeks back, the player said that he isn’t minding about contract renewal talks because he has left it all to his agent but up to now, nothing has been confirmed yet.

Aaron Ramsey was dropped from the lineup which faced Chelsea on Saturday and this might have come as a surprise to him because Unai Emery has praised him for a long time.
