Arsenal players trained with Unai Emery for the first time since the appointment of the Spanish manager and it was an interesting one.
Arsenal players made their first training with their new manager Unai Emery who took charge of the North London squad in May after Arsene Wenger left the club, after the end of the 2018/19 season.
The Arsenal players also welcomed some of their new teammates which the new manager has brought this summer transfer window to the club so they met and trained for the first time.
It was an interesting training as Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made a new record at the Emirates Stadium even though matches haven’t begun but this time it was an Arsenal training record after he showed his fitness by making a one-legged triple jump test, getting a distance of 7m 97cm which one of the gunners training instructors was heard saying “this is a new record”.
You can watch this in the video below which Arsenal released.
Unai Emery will be hoping that the players get used to his new training module and will also take up this chance to get to know more about the players before the new season starts, the gunners can’t wait to see Arsenal in the pre-season matches because they are anxious to see what formations and lineups the new boss will use next season.
