Unai Emery Reveals How First Two Weeks In Training Has Gone

Unai Emery has been at the Emirates Stadium for about two months and the manager says that they ready for the friendly match on Saturday against Boreham Wood.

Arsenal appointed Unai Emery as gunners new boss in May and the new Gunners manager is getting set for his first match in control and has addressed the media for the first time.

As the squad, they have come back to pre-season training, five new signings have been officially announced and with this, the team will be expected to perform better on the pitch in the upcoming season which kicks off in August.

The gunners go up against Boreham Wood in their first pre-season encounter on Saturday and Unai Emery held his first press conference at the London Coloney where he spoke about a number of matters. The new Arsenal manager was asked on how his first two weeks in training have went, and he said;

“Good afternoon everybody. The first two weeks for us is to start knowing the club, knowing the players, knowing all the people who are working with us. ”

“And then to work tactically, technically and physically, to start this way and get ready for the friendly match [on Saturday. We will arrive 50 per cent in our way.”
