Sokratis Papastathopoulos Reveals Two Arsenal Players That Convinced Him To Join Arsenal

Arsenal's new signing Sokratis Papastathopoulos has revealed that Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan persuaded him into coming to the Emirates Stadium.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos has uncovered he talked with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan before joining Arsenal.

The Gunners today declared the defender has joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund on undisclosed fee which the club decided to hide.

Papastathopoulos, 30, has penned a long-term contract after his reportedly £16m move to the Emirates.

What’s more, the centre back, who played close by Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan while still at Dortmund, says the Arsenal combo induced him to make a move to the for North London club.

Papastathopoulos signed after Stephen Lichtenstein and Bernd Leno came to the Emirates, with the defender becoming Unai Emery’s third summer signing.
