Arsenal appointed Unai Emery as the gunners boss and the Spanish manager has signed five players but let's take at some reasons why his summer transfer business is over.
Arsenal Manager Unai Emery
The gunners have completed five signings this summer already and are however still linked with a number of players such as Steven N’Zonzi and Andre Gomes as Unai Emery continues transformation of the Arsenal team.
Let’s take at an analysis and reasons why Unai Emery’s Summer transfer business is over after the gunners have completed the signing of five players namely; Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi.
1. UNAI EMERY HAS EXCEEDED THE BUDGET LIMIT
Unai Emery was appointed as Arsenal’s manager in May and the board gave him an amount of £70million to spend on transfers and he has already spent more than that even though one of the signings came for free so they manager might not sign more players since there’s no money.
2. UNAI EMERY HAS FIXED ALL THE LOOPHOLES IN HIS SQUAD
Unai Emery has been very clever in his signings because he has signed a goalkeeper, a right back, a centre back, a central midfielder and a defensive midfielder – fixing all the positions which the gunners were lacking in.
It might not be necessary for the manager to sign any more players because the club is complete, even though he has not signed a forward but that is pretty understandable because Arsenal has many forwards.
3. UNAI EMERY HAS HINTED THAT HIS TRANSFER BUSINESS IS OVER
Unai Emery said in his latest interview that he could sign one more player if the right player comes but this could have been a statememt that the manager is done with transfers because coaches usually say that when done in buying new players.
Arsenal supporters also are satisfied with the signings the manager has brought at the club because they feel that it is finally time for them to win the Premier League in the upcoming season.
