Mkhitaryan Is Happy That Aubameyang And Sokratis Are At Arsenal

Arsenal attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan says that it is always good to play with your old teammates at another club.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan arrived at the Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window after the gunners made a direct exchange of players with Manchester United and Alexis Sanchez went to the Old Trafford.

Arsenal signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Sokratis Papastathopoulos who were both once teammates of Mkhitaryan when they were all still at German based club Borussia Dortmund.

The Armenian international says that he is happy to be with his former teammates again at Arsenal and confirmed that he did send them text messages when he heard that the gunners were interested in them.

“It is always nice to play with your old team-mates, with Aubameyang and Sokratis.” said the midfielder.

“We are all looking forward to the new season and we’re going to do our best to help this team reach the top four of the Premier League.”

Mkhitaryan will likely be in the Arsenal lineup today when the gunners face Atletico Madrid today in the upcoming hours and the midfielder will hope to impress the new manager Unai Emery.
