Jack Wilshere Makes Statement Which Will Hurt Arsenal Fans

Arsenal released Jack Wilshere at the start of July and the midfielder has revealed how he has been a West Ham United fan since his childhood.

In an interview, Wilshere claims his entire family were Hammers’ fans and he had one specific player on the back of his shirt.

The long-running Jack Wilshere’s connection to Arsenal  seems to be over with the English  midfielder set to join West Ham United on Monday as the midfielder undergone a medical at the London side.

Following his departure  from Arsenal towards the end of June, the 26-year-old is presently a free agent and was set for a move to Fenerbahce according to reports.

In a conversation with the West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini the midfielder currently looks set to stay in England by signing a three-year contract worth £100,000 per week.

Due to Wilshere’s injury woes, the mieldfielder has missed about 150 games in his career but in spite of his poor record the deal appears to be ideal for the two parties, West Ham United need a midfielder to stand in place after Manuel Lanzini will miss the up coming season due to injury.

Furthermore, in an ongoing meeting, Wilshere talked about his adoration for the Hammers.

“I think I must have been about six or seven, my whole family were West Ham fans, I was a West Ham fan, still have a soft spot for them of course.” He told Sportsman.

“I love, I used to love them back in the day when I was a kid. I had all the shirts, my brother did, I think I had John Moncur on the back of that, you know.”
