France Eliminates Uruguay From World Cup And It’s Good News For Arsenal Fans

Arsenal will now complete the signing of Lucas Torreira in the coming days since his participation in the World Cup has ended.

The World Cup quarter finals have begun and the first match was France Vs Uruguay which has ended 2-0 in favour of the French squad who were superior than the  South American country.

It’s a very saddening moment for the Uruguay fans but it might as well be good news for Arsenal supporters because they will now be completing their much awaited deal of Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria since the player requested to wait until his participation in World Cup ends.

Lucas Torreira’s father recently announced that his son’s move to the Emirates Stadium is virtually done but says that they rejected to do a medical in Russia.

“Arsenal offered to do the medical examinations in Russia but we decided against it because we felt it was inconvenient, it is not the right time.” said Lucas Torreira’s father.

Arsenal will now approach the player to come and do the medical in London since his country Uruguay has been knocked out from the World Cup thanks to a splendid performance from France.
