Arsenal Makes Move For Barcelona Star

Unai Emery has surprised Arsenal fans in the way his handling transfers and Andre Gomes is also linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Barcelona star Andre Gomes becomes the latest player to join the wish list of Arsenal’s new manager Unai Emery who is trying to revamp the squad before the start of the 2018/19 season.

The Portuguese international has found life hard at Barcelona as he has failed to make an impact at the Spanish giants but Unai Emery believes that the player could fit well into the playing style which he will hoping to introduce at Arsenal next season.

The Independent says that the gunners want to sign Andre Gomes this summer because Unai Emery has described the player as a player who would impress at Arsenal if he joined the North London club, the report also says that the gunners are ready to let go of their stars to raise necessary funds to acquire the 24-year-old.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery was given an amount of £70million to spend on transfers this summer but they have already signed two players, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Bernd Leno who could have both cost over £30million leaving the gunners with a few amount yet they still have to pay Sampdoria to sign Lucas Torreira who will soon be coming to the Emirates Stadium.

It is said that Barcelona will ask £30millon from Arsenal to sign the Portuguese midfielder this summer.
