Arsenal supporters are eagerly waiting for the announcement of deals of Lucas Torreira and Sokratis Papastathopoulos but an Italian journalist says the Uruguayan international is ready for medicals after World Cup.

Italian journalist named Fabrizio Romano says that the deal between Arsenal and Sampdoria for Lucas Torreira is done with only the medicals pending which is good for gooners will soon be hearing official news from the club about the acquisition of the Uruguayan international.

The reporter also says that the gunners have also completed the deal of Borussia Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos.

FABRIZIO ROMANO’S TWEET

Fabrizio wrote on his Twitter account; “Lucas Torreira will have medicals with Arsenal soon, the deal is completed. And Arsenal will finalize Sokratis Papastathopoulous deal too!”

Arsenal fans are surprised with how their new manager Unai Emery has been handling the transfers this summer because their previous boss, Arsene Wenger used to wait until the last few days of the transfer window to finally focus on transfers.
