Arsene Wenger leaves the Emirates Stadium at the end of this season but the Frenchman has prophesied that the gunners will be among title contenders next season.
ARSENE WENGER
The gunners faced Leicester City on Wednesday night but failed to collect any point from the King Power Stadium as Arsenal’s away record in 2018 becomes worse but Arsene Wenger has a positive belief on what will happen next season.
The manager lost his penultimate match last night when the gunners had been hosted by the foxes and the home side were very lucky in the match as they played against 10 man Arsenal team and later obtained a penalty which ended Arsene Wenger‘s hopes of getting a point in Leicester as he now needs to focus on his last match.
The manager however says that he sees something special in the current squad and believes that they will be among the Premier League title contenders next season, said Wenger after losing against Leicester City.
“I think if the team get one or two good away results next year, they will play for the Premier League next season, I am convinced.” said Wenger boldly after the match.
“There is something special in that team that will come out next season and I am convinced Arsenal will be one of the contenders.” Wenger is quoted by the Mirror.
Arsene Wenger will be taking his leave as Arsenal boss at the end of this season and he has failed to set up some bit of good send off in his last season as he has failed to win the Europa League or any other competitions, and now even just lost his penultimate match but he says that the gunners have championship winning home winning record. So they have been only been awful when playing away from home this season which is statistically true.
