The 2017/18 Premier League campaign is soon ending and the gunners play Leicester City today at the King Power Stadium.
ARSENAL VS LEICESTER CITY
The gunners take on Leicester City today at the King Power Stadium and this will be their second last match of the season as well as being Arsene Wenger’s.
The Arsenal team comes in this match knowing that a win against the foxes won’t do them any change on the current Premier League standings but will be hoping to at least end the season with three consecutive wins for their departing manager, Arsene Wenger.
Leicester City were Arsenal’s first Premier League opponents when the season begun and the gunners win the game with a hard-fought 4-3 scoreline thanks to a late goal from former gunner Oliver Giroud who scored in the last minutes of the match to help the gunners collect all the three points so it looks like yesterday when the season begun and we are now writing about its ending.
The Arsenal squad trained yesterday at the London Coloney and there were a number of faces like new boy Konstantinos Mavropanos who has surprised many in his two first Premier League starts and his performance has calmed down the supporters of the North Londoners who were very worried about Laurent Koscielny’s long-term injury but it seems the gunners already have the youngster as his perfect replacement.
The young defender will probably start tonight’s match against Leicester City because it’s not like Wenger has many options and he might come with a light squad because the match is of less importance.
