Atletico Madrid Vs Arsenal Match Preview

The gunners have travelled to Spain to face Atletico Madrid to play the 2nd leg match of the Europa League semi finals.

Arsenal will be welcomed today at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium to face their Europa League semi final opponents Atletico Madrid.

This will be the 2nd leg of the tie after the gunners made a 1-1 draw with the Spanish club at the Emirates Stadium thanks to a late goal from their striker Griezmann who put the ball into the back of the net to gift Atletico Madrid a precious away goal.

Arsene Wenger and his squad will come into this match knowing that they will need to score past Atletico Madrid today because they will be eliminated if the match ended 0-0 because they have an away goal, they will however find it hard to win against Diego Simeone’s men at their home stadium will be hard because have a good record at their home stadium.

The gunners have all their hopes on winning the UEFA Europa League because it’s the only chance Arsenal has in qualifying for next season’s UEFA Champions League, it will be very disappointing for the supporters and the club sponsors for the Arsenal team to miss out on UCL football for two consecutive seasons.
