Analysis: Does Arsenal Need To Beg Wilshere To Stay

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has refused to sign a new deal with the gunners so let's take an in depth analysis on whether the 26 year old is very important to the gooners.

Jack Wilshere has become the new contract rebel out of a sudden after it’s been revealed that the English international has been offered a deal but he is yet to sign according to Arsene Wenger.

Although there hasn’t been any official statement from Jack Wilshere but it’s believed that the reason why the English international isn’t in a hurry to sign is because the new deal he is offered will see him get a pay cut on his current wages so he is still thinking it over.

We are going to take a look whether Arsenal should make deal according to Wilshere’s demands or not;

1. Wilshere has constantly been getting injured and missing many games in the past?

This could be the reason why the Arsenal officials could have given him a deal which sees him get a pay cut. The midfielder is an un reliable player who is usually vulnerable to injuries so it could be that the club didn’t want to put much money into him.

2. Arsenal could still be fierce without him?

Well, Wilshere isn’t another Mesut Ozil who could be a big loss if he left. The gunners also have some promising youngsters who could be a good replacement for the 26 year old.

Now that we have looked at why the gunners shouldn’t kneel for Wilshere to sign a new deal, let’s take a look at some of the reasons the club should make sure he signs.
