The gunners are playing against Manchester City today in the Carabao Cup final at the Wembley Stadium in the afternoon.

Gunners midfielder Mesut Ozil has been ill in the past few days and there are worries that he might not be ready to play today’s important match against the league Leaders.

Arsene Wenger confirmed that the player trained with the rest of the team on Friday, here’s what he said;

“I’ll see him this morning. He had a good session yesterday, that he absorbed well. So we have to see how he responds to it today. But I think he will be alright.’ the manager told arsenal.com.

‘You want all your best players available and, of course, he is an important player for us.”

The gooners will be hoping that the German international becomes available for selection today because their back up attacking midfielder Mkhitaryan is cup tied so he is ineligible to play in that competition.
