The gunners finished off the January transfer window without signing a mature defender so they are currently planning for the summer transfer window.

It has been reported by the Calciomercato that the gunners will be making a move for highly rated Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly who they have been monitoring for a very long time so they will be making a serious move in the summer transfer window which is just a few months from now.

Arsenal has lost many matches this season and most of those losses have been due to un necessary goals scored after the defense of gunners making mistakes which cost the team.

It is said that the gunners have been sending scouts to watch the defender because Arsene Wenger  will sanction a bid in the summer for the player who is currently valued at £40million.

The gunners usually did not spend much on defenders in the past but that has started changing over the years because they signed Shkodran Mustafi for over £30 million from Valencia.

The gunners want to leave sign Kalidou Koulibaly due to their defensive problems and as well as a replacement for Per Mertesacker who will be quitting football at the end of this season.
