Bad News Gunners: Mesut Ozil Agrees Deal With Barcelona

The gunners have been trying to convince Mesut Ozil to stay at the Emirates stadium but it seems they have failed in their bid to keep the German international in London.

The gunners have been trying to convince Mesut Ozil to stay at the Emirates stadium but it seems they have failed in their bid to keep the German international in London.

There has been strong speculation over the future of the German international over the past few weeks with a number of European clubs being linked with the former Real Madrid star who joined Arsenal in 2012.

The gunners have received the worst news they could have ever thought today after reports in Spain and METRO who claim l that Mesut Ozil has agreed a deal with Spanish giants Barcelona who have been interested in the player for years now, so the Catalans will be signing the playmaker in this up coming January transfer window.

Mesut Ozil has only a few months remaining on his contract at the Emirates stadium and it is said that the player won’t wait up to next year’s summer, would rather abandon the North London club where has spent four years winning q number of honours not even leaving that he is a fan favorite amongst the Arsenal supporters.

Arsene Wenger has always avoided questions when he was asked about the situation of the playmaker at the club but there was a report a few days ago which said that Mesut Ozil had been given permission by the Arsenal manager to leave the Emirates stadium. This is gonna come as a surprise because the player has never given a comment in public whether he will be leaving or not in the transfer window which is one month away from opening.

It is said that Arsene Wenger was told by the player that he was no longer interested in being an Arsenal player which prompted the manager to just let the player leave the club but the French manager will wish to cash him out so a bid is expected to be submitted by Barcelona in the coming weeks or so. It is said that the gunners will accept a €20 million bid from the Catalans in the January transfer window.
