The gunners will be looking to strengthen their squad in this upcoming January transfer window and it looks seems Arsenal will make a new signing in two months time.

There has been constant reports linking Real Madrid star Karim Benzema to the Emirates stadium and it seems those rumours may come to life after they are latest developments concerning the issue of the transfer of the player to another club.

There is a new report by MIRROR that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is planning to release most of his players that are currently surplus to requirements at the Spanish club and it said that the French international is among the players that wants to be released from the club in this upcoming transfer window giving Arsenal the chance to get him without much effort.

The gunners already have two French attackers in their current squad so it will be very un usual for a club to have many strikers from the same country with playing the same position and this is enough to ruin the careers of one or two of them, so if Karim Benzema joins the gunners, so this means it will be the time for Olivier Giroud to finally leave the Emirates stadium.

Karim Benzema is a top striker that has been scoring massive goals a season but he has had many challenges in the past two seasons with Real Madrid so it is said that the French international is fed up of being in Spain and is scared that will soon be getting benched in matches, hence making him to think of leaving the Laliga Champions with Arsenal being the club more interested in him.
